Getting the Baby room made up

Today i build the most complex bed frame and undercarge that Ikea makes...seriously
Anyway all for mr Elliot, were getting Elliot's room togeather, it was sappose to be done around this time, the 27th, ie the estimated time of his birth however Elliot had other plans and came before his room was complete. Today we got abit caught up organiying the side room where Sarah and i will sleep, so where closer to Elliots room, making it easy for use to change and feed him durrning the night without having to go up and down the stairs. Were still working out the total organization of both the rooms to maximise the space, but all in all where alot better off then we were yesterday.
Elliot is quickly growing and looking more like a baby rather then a newborn, as in a few days ago. I have noticed his color is changing abit along with some more chub and dextarity with his hands and limbs in general as well as some random facial expressions
Anyway im off to get ready for bed, more later

Elliots Learning!

While we where some what reluctant to give Elliot a "tutu" as Sarah calls it, it really has been great help. elliot really likes it alot, arguably too much, so were limiting it abit already. But its super helpful if he wakes up mid lunch or dinner, additionally is helping him get back to bed at night when hes not too hungry. And besides, look how DAMN cute his is with it! As you can see here, i showed him how to hold his tutu in so it doesnt fall out, and he already has learned to do it most of the time! Smart Boy!!
Things have been great, Sarah and I are alot more adjusted to waking up to change and feed Elliot.
eliiot has been ganing alot of weight, which the midwife advised us was abit too fast, so we have to moniter his food intake abit, as aprently Elliot will kinda just keep eating if we offer it up...
elliot is looking healthy and doing well , more upadtes soon

Elliot at Home

The first full day at home for Elliot, and all is well. Sarah and I are beciming more acostome to waking up several times during the night to change and feed Elliot, its not too bad and i tend to be able to get right back to sleep. Its been Very beautiful in France, the weather pretty perfect so its nice to have Elliot out for a little sun.
We got a little tub for Elliot and its been great to give him baths, he really likes to be in the water, he makes this Popeye bicep flex pose somtimes thats super cute. However hes not a big fan of being taken out of the water...that tends to piss him off fairly good.
Im very happy to report that overall everything is going very well

Elliot's first day out!

A very exciting day indeed! We finally got to bring Elliot outside the Clinque and take him home. Not to say the Hospital was not great, becasue it really was nice..however it was good to be with him on our own. We took him to Anncey lake and showed him around town a little. A few groups of peple stoped to look and give us congrats on a beautiful child, which was very nice
It was a really nice day and a great first day for Elliot. As we drove home it began to rain ever so slightly, and Sarah and i both said, "Rain is good luck" so it was a cute little sign as we came home...when we got closer and closer to annemass the rain had turned from a slight drizzle to a strong downpour! So i guess we have alot of luck! It was actully fun to run through the rain with baby in hand..im sure i will neer forget this day

How freaking adorable is this little boy??
Do not be fooled this little boy can poop with the best of them!!
i kid i kid...Elliot has been a great little boy
The experience at the Clinque has been very good overall, very different then the out in undera day policy most hospitals have in the US. We should be going home sunday morning which will be about 5 days. The majority of the midwives are very sweet and helpful, they help with whatever we need ..its like little baby training for the parents which i think will be very helpful once we are at home.
Yesterday Elliot had the hicups and it was verry cute and interesting to see becasue he had them when he was in Sarahs belly.
Sarah has been doing better and better, less sore as the days pass and becoming the wonderful mother i know she would be.

Second and Thrid Days as a new PAPA

The second and third day as a papa have been wonderful! Elliot has been eating more and sarahs milk is comming in more.

The First night was abit tough as Elliot did not sleep much thus we did not sleep much..however his gas has subsided some and hes becoming more accostome with going to the bathroom and being changed.

Yesterday was a great day too, Elliot was very inquizative all day and it was great to see him with Sarah, both so calm and happy. Also mid day i went out to explore abit of downtown Anncey. it was very fun to be in a completly foreign place by myself, it really tested my french and my sence of direction. I went and got Elliot some newborn cloths as we were expecting him to be abit larger when he arrived..also momy had some requests for some bonbons and some pomplemoose juice. Also i ran out of clean cloths so i got some new stuff at H & M and had a wonderful icecream which we shared when i got back the the clinque

Im a PAPA!!

July 15th 215pm, France time I became a father, we became a family. A life changing event that i am truly excited and happy about.
Elliot weights 2.8 kills and is about 50cm long or 6.1lbs and 19 inches and is completly beautiful.

There is somthing very amazing about holding your little son in your arms and having him look you right in the face. You have this feeling of joy and peace come over you, its and amazing feeling
